Places to Go

Hamble Ferry

Adults – £1.00. Child – £0.50 (all children including buggies)

From Warsash to Hamble. Goes from riverside footpath. Best to park in car park not on the riverfront and walk up river to the pink ferry hut. Ferries are pink and great for the children to spot. Bikes can also go on the ferry. The Blue Star Kiosk is good for watching the boats go by. There are other tearooms in Hamble Village. Nice walk suitable for pushchairs around Hamble Nature Reserve. There are also other boat trips in the summer that go up and down the river e.g. To Manor Farm Country Park.

Havant town Centre.

Fantastic toddler park. Many climbing frames for younger children. Lots of colourful markings on the play ground floor for children to play on. Huge field, good for picnics and there are shops near by.

Hedge End

There is a fairly new swimming pool and play park at Hedge End, which is meant to be very good. Please let us know if you find out any information, as we haven't been able to find any! Sorry.
