Hiring Rooms and Other Centre Facilities
The Centre is open for hire from 7.30 am and closes at approximately 9.00 – 9.30 pm. Reception is open during the hours of 8.30 am – 5.00 pm and before/after that time the Caretaker/Deputy Caretaker and cleaning staff are on hand to provide any help required.
Weekend staff/opening hours are by prior arrangement. We try to provide at least one member of staff on site who is first aid trained.
Oak Meadow Centre is regularly used by Hampshire County Council and other external organisations for hiring rooms.
Safety
The Centre offers a safe and secure environment. Each room has two handles on the entrance doors – one being high which means young children are secure. Sections of the Centre can be made secure if needed.
Disabled Access
There are disabled parking spaces in the back car park. The entrance to the Centre has disabled access.
Parking
Visitor parking is in Nashe Way car park (PO15 6UD) which is well lit in the evenings. After 18.00 visitors may also park in the EDICT section of this car park. Maps and travel directions can be found here and can also be posted or e-mailed to you.
